Gerry Martinez

ATTORNEY

Attorney Gerry Martinez earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He has been admitted to practice law in Michigan since 2014 and remains an active member of the State Bar of Michigan.

Throughout his legal career, Gerry has been passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex family law matters. He recognizes that many people enter the legal process without fully understanding their rights, options, or what they may be entitled to under the law. His goal is to provide clear guidance, practical advice, and effective representation that empowers clients to make informed decisions about their future. And to ensure every client benefits from up-to-the-minute legal strategies, Gerry maintains an active partnership with the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). Through this ongoing collaboration and continuous advanced training, he stays at the absolute forefront of evolving Michigan family law legislation, landmark court precedents, and procedural shifts—translating complex statutory updates directly into effective advocacy for your case.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. With a strong passion for helping families, particularly children, Andrea is dedicated to supporting clients through some of life's most challenging transitions.

As a legal assistant at MTZ LAW, Andrea plays an important role in ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout the legal process. Understanding that family law matters can be emotionally difficult, Andrea is committed to providing compassionate assistance, prompt communication, and attentive service.
